A Corpus - Student Mobility Fund is proposed as a strategic initiative to enhance students’ global exposure and professional development. The Fund will provide financial assistance to eligible students participating in international competitions, academic exchange programs, research collaborations, and conferences. Alumni contributions are at the heart of this initiative. Your support empowers today’s students and fosters a lasting cycle of giving, where beneficiaries become future benefactors.
Objectives:

Corpus and Sustenance
The Fund will be financed through voluntary contributions from alumni and benefactors. Contributions may be structured as, one-time donations, recurring annual contributions, or named scholarships or travel grants. An annual report will be prepared detailing fund utilization, student beneficiaries, and impact outcomes. Over time, the goal is to establish an endowment model to ensure the Fund’s long-term sustainability.

The Student Mobility Fund embodies the NIT Calicut’s vision of nurturing globally competent graduates. The Corpus of the fund is planned at ₹4 crores, with yearly interest of ₹25 lakhs towards international mobility support.
