The MV Kesava Rao Memorial Clock Tower is conceived as a tribute to the founding principal of Calicut Regional Engineering College / National Institute of Technology Calicut. It is envisioned to stand as a symbol of the Institute’s values and academic excellence. The tower reflects the institution’s historic significance while embodying its future aspirations.
Designed as a soaring monument, it tells a compelling story—a narrative of growth, enlightenment, and the lasting impact of founders’ dedication. Additionally, it involves renovation of the front of Main Building, which is over six decades old.
The estimated budget for the proposed facility is ₹1.2 crore. Shri Charly Chirayath, a first batch alumnus has seeded the project with ₹1 lakh. The 1975 graduating batch contributed ₹5 lakhs during their 50th campus reunion.

Every contribution today paves the way for tomorrow’s success.
